Studio Stennis

Hurrah! We just launched Tieshurt.nl. We are going to try and sell some really cool shirts through our gorgeous and intuitive website. This will also be a little testcase in twittermarketing, search engine optimalisation etc. 3... 2... 1.. LAUNCH!


Another movie by Barend vander Voogd and Rob van der Velden! It's about beerbrewer Herman, who topples over into his beer kettle, starts frementing and turns into a zombie. I also created the fake beerbrand 'mokum Blond', for which a fake capaign was made as well. I have prepared an interesting 'making of' for folks who are brave enough to click here.	Nailed by Nikita, the fake Grindhouse trailer by Rob van der Velden and Maurice Tromp, won the A-film trailer competition. Mr. Tarantino handpicked the trailer himself, so they're pretty proud. I myself am pretty proud of the one-sheet I made for the short. (Part of) the cast was photographed on-set to create the piece you see here.

Since march and april two more beautiful girls grace our planet: Emma and Madelief. Emma's mom & dad met at the beach, so for her i made a card with a nautical theme. You can see it in the illustration section. Madelief's card took the shape of a chocolate bar. On the back of the bar we printed weight, place of 'production', ingredients, and mom & dad's contact info als 'customer service hotline'. A matching golden ticket invites the recipients to a big bash later this year.

On this website you'll find examples of my freelance assignments as Studio Stennis, some of my personal work and work I've been doing for Kick Berg & Partners. For this advertisement agency I used to do film-related work like theatrical print campaigns and DVD-packaging. In my spare time I like to draw, do posters for smaller projects and - hopefully - in the future - a lot more multimedia.
